I’ve developed a new obsession: K-dramas. I am Latina and telenovelas are part of my culture but K-dramas are something way different. The fashion and scenics they use are to die for, and I love how they write their stories in such a romantic way, it is like watching a poem. If you are new to K-dramas, these are my recommendations: It’s ok not to be okay, Romance is a Bonus Book and Love Alarm.
By watching K-dramas, I noticed that Koreans do their makeup flawlessly and it’s very important for them that it looks as natural as possible. Needless to say that they believe skincare comes before makeup and that the secret of achieving a great makeup look is having a healthy skin (something I talk about a lot in this blog).
Something that really caught my attention is that all the beautiful Korean girls use their lips in the same way and it’s so particular that the way they do it is called Korean lips (also Korean ombré lips or Korean gradient lips).
I am here to show you how to achieve the look using products you probably have already sitting in your vanity.
What you’ll need:
– A nude lip liner. I am using Essence Soft & Precise Lip Pencil in color 101 MY CHOICE
– A bright red lipstick. I am using Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Pur Couture Satin Lipstick Collection in color 001 1 Le Rouge – blood red
