There’s something about playing with our hair. Sometimes life changes, and we want to go along with it. Other times, nothing has changed, but we yearn for change, so we start with our hair.

That feeling of becoming another version of ourselves with something as simple as a hairstyle change is what drives us to cut our bangs in the middle of the night or impulsively grab a box of hair dye to transition from blonde to brunette. We’ve all been there; I believe it’s a feeling we all share.

I also believe that we’ve all, at least once, regretted changing our hair. I remember the time I cut my bangs with paper scissors; I sure regretted that one!

Well, I am here to tell you my secret on how to play with your hair colour without regrets.

How to dye your hair without hair dye?

I’ve always loved red hair. I remember admiring Lindsay Lohan’s hair back in the day.

In my search for ways to dye my hair copper without commitment, without spending tons of money, and, more importantly, without damage, I found Moroccanoil Color Depositing Mask.

This is the shade I’ve been using since last September

I started using this color depositing hair mask last Fall and let me tell you it far exceeded my expectations. I wasn’t expecting this product to be so good for my hair and to be so long lasting.

This product is so good that they released a non-colour version if you want to get the same amazing results without changing your hair colour.

My hair looks shiny, feels really soft and smells amazing with this product. Talk about winning!

The only downside I found is that it only works for lighter shades of colour and won’t cover grays, so this is not an option for all of you, my dear readers. But… even though I’m still pretty dark compared to blonde, this hair mask does the job and I absolutely recommend it.
