When you are a creator what you create sometimes reflect what you are living in the moment. When you write, paint, draw or do anything that needs creativity sometimes you find days when your energy doesn’t let you create. In my case no matter in which stage of my life I am I always end up being busy. I always say yes to everything that makes me do something new and because of that I spend a lot of energy.

I’ve found passion in my blog and I want so hard to do this forever that sometimes I forget I have a real life to fulfill also and that it’s ok to feel too tired to post.

The last couple of days I have been feeling bad because I haven’t been able to complete an important pending task I have and also wasn’t finding the creativity or the energy to post. Even when I know what I want to talk about and I have the time to do it, if my creativy is not there I just can’t do it, I am not the kind of blogger who posts just to post. I want to always post something meaningful and not get caught in the fakeness some actual bloggers and influencers are painting today.

And then, procrastinating and watching some random Youtube videos of life mysteries (yes I am like that sometimes) I found the Michelle Phan video “Why I left”

For anyone who doesn’t know her she is one of the most famous beauty vloggers, maybe one of the firsts famous youtubers. I follow her since she had just 10K followers.

And that video gave me the energy to write this.

I hadn’t seen how much fakeness exists today in social media until I became a blogger because I started to pay attention to others successful people’s posts. I notice how social media is filled with perfect bodies, perfect couples, perfect outfits, perfect food, PERFECT LIFES. Some of this posts show real happiness or real great moments this person lived but nobody life is perfect and we forget some of the pictures you see are not posted in that perfect moment. Sometimes a blogger is posting an amazing and perfect picture from any regular place.

I am writing about this because I feel bloggers have a piece of the blame cake for this fakeness in social media nowadays trying to have a perfect feed or a blog full of posts because that’s the way to “keep followers” and this takes us to “success”.

Lately I have been struggling to keep my 500 followers count. Somedays it grows and somedays it gets back to 493. And I have put some much work here I get sad because of that number lowering and i forget that I started blogging just because I love to write my thoughts or give a piece of advice about something I experienced. Just making that made me happy even when I just had 50 followers and when the only ones who read my blog where my dad, my cousin and my best friend.

So yes, I just wanted to say out loud that I want to stay real and my blog to be a reflection of that. And I am writing it here so I won´t forget that. Oh and I`ve been wanting to say this for a whole week now: THANKS TO MY ALMOST 500 FOLLOWERS <3 MOST SPECIAL THANKS FOR THE ONES WHO TAKE TIME TO READ MY POSTS. I APPRECIATE IT WITH ALL MY HEART. THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT 🙂

AGAIN. THANKS FOR READING ME,

ANDREA <3

Algunos días crece y algunos días vuelve a 493.

ANDREA <3
