Deciem (the parent company for The Ordinary) is on SALE sitewide until November 30th! 23% off on all of their products, this never happens.

What also never happend before is the closure of both site and stores on Black Friday to support the SHOP SLOWLY MOVEMENT. Can I love this company more?

Because of it, I thought it would be nice to share the products I’ve tried and absolutely LOVE (agreeing with the outstanding reviews this brand has).

If you haven’t given a try to this brand, you are seriously missing out on something good and affordable. Their products really work.

I’ve never trusted my complete beauty routine to one brand but in the past year, 90% of my beauty routine is using The Ordinary products, and my face loves it.

squalane cleanser

I ran off my Philosophy Purity Made Simple Cleanser and decided to give this cleanser from The Ordinary a try. No regrets!

I have mixed to dry skin and started to develop rosacea since I moved to Toronto so I can’t use strong cleansers but as I do photoshoots every week I need a cleanser that acts deeply.

I just started using this cleanser (in Winter) and I feel is amazing because I don’t feel my skin is dry at all but I might find it not strong enough for Summer. I’ll keep you posted.

I would not recommend this one to my oily skin girl though.

caffeine solution 5% + EGCG

I love this one for when I feel my eyes are so tired. I feel it anesthetizes my under-eyes and makes me forget that I did not sleep at all the past night lol.

hyaluronic acid 2% + b5

My favorite among all of The Ordinary products! I used to put it on the wrong way, I would clean my face, put some toner and then the serum by itself.

Now, I have changed this product to my makeup routine in the morning, I put 2 drops of the product on my tinted sunscreen and mix it together. I feel my skin hydrated and not oily at all. I’ve also used it with my foundations and it works wonderful too.

If you apply the serum by itself it will dry and peel. You need to use this serum with anything that contains water for better results. Been there, done that wrong.

natural moisturizing factors + HA

I bought this one because the lady from Deciem told me is the one that puts a barrier so the serums work better. I personally think it has no huge effect but it’s really calming and moistures without being oily.

I use it when I won’t be wearing makeup and put 2 drops of my HA serum.

100% plant-derived squalane

I use this serum every other night (Winter) as I find it leaves my skill very oily but it moisturizes a lot!

niacinamide 10% + zinc 1%

This serum is to control the oily areas of your skin so I use it on my forehead every day (Summer) and I find I don’t get clogged pores easily.

Serum Foundation

I find this foundation lasts a long time! It is matte though, you would need to add plenty of highlight or use a glow primer if you prefer a dewy look. This is a light coverage foundation but they also have a high coverage line. The best is the variety of tones they carry!

The Chemistry Brand HA3 Hand Hydrator 60ml

This is not from The Original but it’s sold at Deciem too. It is the most magical hand cream I’ve ever had! I am not kidding when I say I’ve sold this product to at least 5 of closest ones just by word of mouth and making them try mine. It immediately erases the fine lines in your lines, LIKE IMMEDIATELY.

I hope this post helps you to find the right product for you.

It is fair to say I am good customer but my wishlist is still very long so I’ll probably update this post or do a second part LOL!

Thanks for reading me always,

Andrea
