Hola! This time, as I promised on my last post, I am going to talk about what to do if you already visited the touristic places included on the City Pass (CN TOWER, RIPLEY’S AQUARIUM, ONTARIO MUSEUM, TORONTO ZOO, CASA LOMA AND ONTARIO SCIENCE CENTRE)

Toronto is quite a cosmopolite city who offers a little bit of everything. If you are a landscape person, as me, you will find some interesting spots without leaving the city:

1. High Park: is the bigger green space in the city. It’s totally free and has a little zoo (little, very little). Also you will find a big no leash dog area, if you are a dog owner this will sound awesome.

Besides of that there is no much more to do in this park, is just for taking a break from the big city, that’s it.

2. Budapest Park and all the other parks along lake shore boulevard street:  On the west side of the city you will find many parks on the coast of lake Ontario. These parks can be very romantic at sunset or perfect for a mini photoshoot. Also you will find some bar/restaurants to hang out.

3. Toronto Islands: This was my favorite outdoor space, it has a little amusement park, picnic spots, kayaks and a beach. Is perfect to ride a bicycle. To get to the islands you must take a ferry from downtown (ticket per adult $8) with option for any of the three islands. The islands are connected so if you don’t have a specific spot to visit you should get to center island and decide later.

If you consider that outdoor spaces are not your thing then you will enjoy these more:

1. Eaton Centre: Shopping, shopping and more shopping. This is the most famous mall in Toronto.

2.  Toronto City Hall: Close to the Eaton Centre you will find the old and new Toronto City Hall. Also you would be able to take a picture with the classic T O R O N T O letters.

3. Toronto’s streets: You don’t need to take a long walk to notice that Toronto is a living painting, the streets are full with beautiful graffitis and great bar/restaurants to enjoy

I always tend to speak about the things I have proved, visited or seen by myself. Besides these places there are thousands of more places I haven’t had the pleasure to meet YET! One of them is going to a baseball, basketball and hockey game, hope to be talking about it soon!

Thanks for reading me,

Andrea <3

Hola hola!

Andrea <3
