When my trip to Spain was organized it included obligatory Seville as we were attending to my friend’s cousin wedding. Any wedding is beautiful, even if you are going to crash it, but I have to recognize that Seville was not an exciting destination to me. WHY? Because I had heard too little of it. Just because of that my ignorant self didn’t knew where I was heading.

As this trip came out of nowhere I really didn’t have time to organize as I normally do with another travel and because of it I sticked to my friend’s itinerary which had reserved only 3 days to be in Seville, the wedding weekend.

I was in Spain almost 2 weeks but every day was a rush as it was my friend’s first time in Madrid so I tried to take him as most places as I could. Because of it we had no time to organize for the wedding itself.

We arrived to Seville on Friday afternoon and we were leaving back to Madrid at Monday morning. The wedding was on Saturday.

It goes without saying that everything was organized for us when we got to Seville so I was relaxed about looking for things to do.

When we actually got to Seville, we had a wine tasting then a dinner. The next day we had the wedding so I was going to be all day getting dressed for it.

When I was been dressed up, knowing that we would have Sunday afternoon free I googled Seville for the first time to discover how much I was missing and how few was the time left to see all these magnificent places. I think that magnificent is not a common word but is the perfect word to describe Seville, magnificent as no other.

So I really tried my best to get up early on Sunday to get to the most places we could. We saw in the hotel lobby (El Rey Moro Hotel, the best) that they lend some bicycles for free so the guests can use it. So we took them as could help us to get faster wherever we wanted.

I have always dreamed about wander in a city riding a bicycle so it become a dream come true. I can easily say this was the best day of my entire trip. We got to see so many places but I will never forget Plaza de España. Magnificent in every sense of the word.

And of course, I learn my lesson. ALWAYS google the place you are going to visit BEFORE you get there. If only I had done it I would have arranged to say more days in Seville.

Be prepared to see some wonderful photos. Seville I will come back.

Thanks for reading me.
