Well, where do I start *sigh*

This is my 3rd time in Madrid but sure it is the most special one.

When you have been so many times to the same place you get to notice details that you haven’t noticed before, well that happens to me.

This time my company was a good friend of mine whose was visiting Europe for the first time, that’s why I got to visit again all the touristic places in the city, PITIFULLY for us we had such a bad luck. Every place we went was closed: 1. El Retiro Park: closed all week 2. The Royal Palace: closed for two days 3. Del Prado Museum: closing

It was such a bad coincidence my friends blamed ME for this. No way 😛

As all the touristic places were close I got to visit few stores 😀 That’s when I realized that although we Americans should find shopping more expensive if you know how to make your purchases you can save up to 40%. If you are interested in -know how- I will be posting about it.

Also we dedicated time to eat and eat. FOODIE tips to eat in Spain, TAPAS AND MORE TAPAS. Although is not the healthier choice, You and I know that if you are on vacations calorie-counting doesn’t exist (Who are we trying to kid?) And if it comes to tapas and saving up you must pass by 100 montaditos.

Another restaurant that I thought was different and that I had only seen in movies is XAKE Buffet which is an all you can eat with a rotating buffet. You pay from 10 to 15 euros depending on the day and take everything you want from the rotating bar that goes by your side. I must tell you that deserve is also included and the green tea ice cream is a must.

For shopping matters you can’t miss out the oportunity to visit PRIMARK which is almost a tourist  visit, if you go to Madrid you will see almost any person in the street has at least one shopping bag from this store.

Below are the photos I liked the most.

And here what I love the most about traveling, coming back to a place you didn’t was sure to be back to, for all life circumstances that could get between and realize how much you have grown up or how the same you feel. Watch how memory recreates a moment already lived in present. Realize that your worries are different now and that life happens faster than we want.
